Jining Insurance Industry Association is a self-regulatory organization of the whole industry. It was approved by Shandong Insurance Regulatory Bureau in August 2002 and registered as a non-profit social organization in Jining Civil Affairs Bureau. As of October 2018, it has 66 member units, including 30 property insurance companies and 36 life insurance companies. In August 2010, the Party Branch of Jining Insurance Industry Association was established with the approval of the Party Committee of Shandong Insurance Regulatory Bureau. The Municipal Association has been awarded the honorary title of advanced unit by Shandong Insurance Regulatory Bureau for many times, and was rated as the first batch of "5A-level associations" by the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, and was rated as a "Party Building Demonstration Point" by the Party Working Committee of Social Organizations.
