Founded in 2004, Grupo Jorge Ordóñez is a select group of six wineries that produce wines from grapes from seven different denominations of origin throughout Spain. All the wineries are owned and managed by Jorge Ordóñez. Nacho Álvarez is the Technical Director and Chief Oenologist of the Group. The philosophy of this project is the production of artisanal wines from the oldest vineyards of native Spanish grapes. All the vineyards are dry-cultivated and tended according to the most traditional viticulture methods. The wines of the Group constitute the definitive representation of quality wine produced from the oldest clones of the different native Spanish varieties.
