Chenghui Ecological Agriculture mainly deals with: planting, processing and sales of Shaanxi edible fungi, Shaanxi shiitake mushrooms and Shaanxi fungus; animal husbandry and sales, etc. At present, the company's main products include mushroom sauce, shiitake mushrooms, black fungus, ecological black pork, high-quality pigs, biological organic fertilizer, etc.

The predecessor of Shaanxi Institute of Microbiology was the Microbiology Laboratory of Northwest Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was established independently in 1979 and is the only scientific research institution in Northwest China engaged in professional microbial technology research.
