Bibliotecological Research: archiving, bibliography and information is a Mexican scientific journal edited by the Institute of Library and Information Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, with open access to full text and bilingual; it is published quarterly, and includes research and review articles, written in Spanish, English and Portuguese, in print and electronic format. The purpose of the journal is to publish original and unpublished scientific results of research in Library and Information Sciences, derived from original research conducted in Mexico and in other parts of the world. The published articles are peer-reviewed and reviewed by prestigious national and international specialists using the “double-blind” procedure; they deal with theoretical or empirical problems with quantitative, qualitative or mixed approaches of a multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary nature. The journal also publishes an editorial and critical reviews on works in the specialty that have previously been peer-reviewed and reviewed.
