These days, jigging is not just about catching yellowtail or Japanese amberjack, but you can also catch a variety of other fish. It was a cloudy day. At first, I was planning to catch bluefish, but there were no waves or wind, and the tide was not moving at all (´゚д゚`). Even when I stopped the boat, it didn't flow at all and remained stationary, just like the calm Lake Biwa. It's rare to see such a calm state on the sea (;゚Д゚) For that reason, I quickly gave up on bluefish and changed my target to redfish. I dropped the tairaba, but the line just fell straight down and I couldn't move it at all. All I got were ESOs (-_-) I couldn't get anywhere with the tairaba, so I changed to a short jig and tried to lure them slowly. I caught rockfish when I attacked the area with a change in topography (;・∀・) I caught grouper whether I attacked deep water or shallow water. On the right is a grouper caught in deep water, its eyes popping out due to the change in water pressure (;゚Д゚). I also caught a Japanese sea bream. I kept looking for places with even the slightest change like this, changing the spot and catching fish one by one. In the end, I caught three types of sea bream - red sea bream, red snapper, and tilefish - as well as a grouper and a Japanese sea bream, giving me a total of five fish (^▽^)/ It's also fun to try fishing for red fish. This time I mainly used a 100g short jig, but I also used a tairaba. For the rods, I used a slow jigging rod and a tairaba rod. This time I only caught red fish, but next time I'd like to target mainly blue fish.
