Our club is a non-profit organization promoting dog sports and we are open to dogs of all breeds and mixed breeds. We are a member of the Southwest German Dog Association (SWHV) and through this we are also a member of the German Dog Sports Association (DHV) and the Association for German Dogs (VDH). We see our core task as promoting the harmonious coexistence of dogs and humans in everyday life. Our volunteer trainers teach members and course participants under expert guidance how their dog can become a friendly everyday companion and how they can master every situation together without stress. In the best case, this support takes place when the dog is a puppy and leads through several stages up to the companion dog test (BH). The BH is an internationally recognized test and is taken by a SWHV judge. In addition, we offer our members and anyone interested a wide range of opportunities to be active with their dogs and thus ensure that they are used in a species-appropriate manner. The VDH (Association for German Dogs) is the leading interest group for dog breeders and dog owners in Germany. The dog association is the first port of call when it comes to life with dogs, dog sports and dog breeding.

We are your competent contact for all questions about dogs. We hold two international and one national dog shows every year in Karlsruhe and Offenburg. The annual cynological conference is another highlight of our work.

Hundesportverein Gersbach is dedicated to the sport and training of dogs in the Gersbach area.
