The Yellowknife Skating Club is a nonprofit organization, run by volunteers, sanctioned by Skate Canada and dedicated to the sport of skating.

The Yellowknife Women’s Society is a grassroots community-based charitable organization. The goal of YKWS is to support and assist women in empowering themselves so they could develop their goals, achieve wellness, enjoy equality and be recognized for the contribution they make to the community.
