The VIVALECTURA Award, a contest that recognizes experiences that promote reading practices in different educational and social spaces, awarded the winning projects of the 2024 edition, at the OEI Cultural Space in the city of Buenos Aires. The ceremony, broadcast on YouTube, was chaired by Dr. Carlos Torrendell, Secretary of Education of the Nation; Luis Scasso, director of the Buenos Aires regional office of the OEI; Nilda Palacios, project coordinator of the Santillana Argentina Foundation; and Silvia Bacher, president of the jury of the Vivalectura 2024 Award. This new edition had 283 entries and 9 awards were given in two categories: Society and Public and Private Schools. As well as the Vera Rexach Special Mention for reading in digital environments.
